The North Jersey School Music Association is proud to present the Region I Middle School Concert Band Festival on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. All middle school concert bands (Grades 6-8) are invited to participate in this festival which provides an opportunity for your band’s performance to be critiqued. Each band will be given one half hour to set up on stage, warm-up, perform for the judges and other participating bands. You will receive a mini-clinic from one or both of the adjudicators. Please reserve 15 minutes of your time for the clinic.

The site for this year’s Middle School Concert Band Festival will be:
Pequannock Township High School (4-8pm)

Each band will receive a plaque commemorating their participation with a rating of Gold, Silver or Bronze. No more than seven bands will be accepted.. All bands must arrive for the first performance and stay until the last band has finished. Additional sites may be added if enrollment dictates and locations become available. The festival will run from 4:00PM to 8:00 PM. There will be no dinner break and therefore, no space provided to eat. Please have your students bring a snack for after the festival and/or make other dinner accommodations off site.
