The NJMEA All-State Opera Festival seeks to provide an equal opportunity, positive and stimulating experience for all high school students to experience the world of opera, no matter what their skill level is. The Festival is a one-day event where students come together with opera professionals for a workshop, masterclass, rehearsals, and festival performance. Students can participate by simply registering to attend (to watch the workshop/masterclass, and be part of the festival chorus), or by submitting a video audition to perform an aria or ensemble in the masterclass and/or final festival performance.
